Craigs Station Creamery

Craigs Station Creamery is a joint venture of eight family-run farms and Dairy Farmers of America, a leading farmer-owned milk marketing cooperative and dairy foods processor. Located alongside fields of cows, barns, and milking parlors at Noblehurst Farms in York, NY, is a state-of-the-art facility that combines the resources of a leading dairy company with cutting-edge technology and the traditional goodness of family farming.

In the fall of 2014, Craigs Station opened up its $10 million, 14,000-square-foot cold milk separation facility in the town of York on Noblehurst Farms. The facility receives about 1 million pounds of fresh milk a day and separates it into 990,000 pounds per day of standardized milk and cream. Additionally, the plant runs on renewable energy that comes from an anaerobic digester. The Livingston County IDA assisted in the form of a payment instead of a tax agreement, sales tax exemption, and mortgage recording exemption.
