LMC Industrial Contractors
LMC Industrial Contractors was founded in 1982 in Avon, New York as a mechanical contracting company focused on process piping, but shifted their focus towards industrial contracting projects in the early 1990s. To expand the company and facilitate its growth, LMC purchased the vacant 500,000 square foot in 2005 located directly off Interstate 390, just south of Rochester, New York. This 83-acre facility provided fundamental essentials for expansion, such as supporting LMC’s operations with a covered 650,000 square-foot production facility, and a 55-acre storage yard.
By 2015, the facility was ready for a 46,000-square-foot expansion for a more efficient workflow. Today, three companies, LMC Mechanical Contractors, American Motive Power, and Providence Agriculture, now operate from this location. They employ a combined 500 people, requiring a strong skill set in a variety of trades, such as agricultural, welding/fabrication, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and civil engineering.
